Simplicity 4487

It's been too long since I last sat in front of my machine. In all fairness, I have made some things, but they were doll clothes for my daughter, and I just didn't feel like photographing them.

I'm making this new shirt in View C (the green one on the pattern envelope). I got some lovely silk charmuse type fabric on sale at Joann's earlier this month. It's a milk chocolate, with some western themed designs on it, but in a feminine style. I really like the style in view C, despite opposition from a friend (I don't think she's a bow type of girl, lol) I also think I'll be able to wear this with my dark chocolate moleskin jacket I made back in September. Well, stay tuned for the finished project.
